They were a race of people who were forced off of their planet because of a global catastrophe. It forced generations to travel in space as they looked for a new home planet. During this time, they have their own problems; crime, politics, the unknown. During all this, the leaders of the ships try to keep a show of control during a time of chaos.
They were a race of people, forced off their home planet, left wandering space. They were looking for a new home planet. During their travel, they had to handle multiple problems from multiple directions. The leader of one ship had to contend with all of this, plus a personal shock. On top of it all, he had to keep the government and military up to date of a crime wave which had repercussion on all their people.
What happens when a race of people in a distant galaxy must leave their planet or be burned to death? As they leave their planet in a group of spaceships of multiple sizes, they are forced to figure out how to live in long distance outer space.
While doing this, they must also figure how to survive each other at the same time, which seems to be equally if not more difficult.
